    Default Drunk Lasso Tool?

In Painter IX 9 does anyone else notice that after drawing a selection with the lasso tool the dotted line does not match what was drawn? Seem like the lasso generalizes or skips detail. I know that in Painter 6 and earlier there was a problem with running out of memory cache on complex selections, but that shouldn't be a problem anymore since I'm not making long selections and am using a G5, loaded, OSX, and all that. Anyone else?

I find the lasso accurate, though it still runs out of rope. OSX + A4 Wacom

Thelonius, Can you tell me what machine you are using and if possible, what the vidio card setup is? Thanks much.

    2 emacs 1.25GHz 32Mb ATI and 1.42GHz 64Mb ATI

The misalignment sounds more like a tablet problem. Are you using a tablet?

Thanks first of all for your help.
No, same problem with the mouse. Make a 1 inch file by 72 dpi. Draw a simple flower shape, or hand, the selection is inconsistent, doesn't follow the shape that I draw. Maybe since it's inconsistent it would be a problem with the way the program handles memory.
