Xtreme PDF Export

I found that the bug appears only when the option "Convert text into shapes" is enabled in the PDF export menu.
Often it is useful to send text as shapes as it solves many font problems (copyright on special fonts, etc.), I hope this bug will be corrected.

As a workaround, to export text as shapes now I have to Select all, convert to shapes, ungroup everything and then click Export.

AFAIK, Acrobat hasn't gone past 7 yet, at least on the Windows platform.

Re the display problems, this pdf is in format 1.4. Were the apps that didn't display it correctly looking for format 1.3?

I tested your file also, and it is all there in the .pdf I made. In fact I tested if in making a selection and in not making one, and I got the same .pdf every time. Be sure you have the latest free Reader from Adobe.

It could be that your download of Xara Xtreme did not complete properly. There is a download for bug fixes and if you can't find it, ask Gary.

yes I tried also the pdf 1.3 exprt option; the probem seems to appear in that file when "Convert text into shapes" is enabled in the PDF export menu.

Opens in Illustrator CS2 as well as Acrobat 7. Objects were editable in Illustrator after ungrouping twice and releasing clipping mask all through context menu.
