I took this one through our living room window the other day. This little fella has been living here for a while now and I noticed him rebuilding his web (I assume the one from the previous day got wrecked by the wind and rain) so took some pics of it. Absolutely fascinating to watch.....

I am no expert on spideys by any means, but I think that is a female. I heard once that only the females have spinerettes... Anybody out the know more about spideys?

    Cool picture Andrew!

Nice fall colors and dew on the web... A regular fall day. Had a nice big ole black spidey in the house last night. This gal must have been 2-3 inches across. I just squished her with a hammer... Take no chances with big ole spideys...

    Very Cool shot Andrew...

Now put a little lady in the web instead of the spidey and you will have a contest winner...

Now this one was really big! Unfortunately there isn't anything in the photo for size reference. It resembled a small crab rather than a spider!
