Default Keeping colours of the original xar/emf file...

    Hi,

I've downloaded the Xara3D 6 trial and I have to say I have been very impressed. However, before I purchase the software, I have a slight problem. I am importing .xar/.emf files, but I'd like to keep the original colours of the images. However, when I import the file, it doesn't retain the original colours. Is this possible and if so, how do I achieve this?

    Thanks for any help guys.

    Welcome to the forums, James.

Xara3D only accepts vector outlines, and discards any other information in an imported shape, including fill and line colour, and line thickness. Once the shape itself is imported, you can then apply Xara3D's own attributes to all or selected shapes, including colour, applied to face or sides or both, and Bevel, Extrusions etc, and can apply bitmaps as textures to the shapes.
