Thank's for your advice.

I have now made the logo more simple. Here are 3 different outputs. Please comment.

Here's another idea. It originated with your original box idea. The 'air holes' add a romantic flair to it. This is the kind of box I think of when I think 'Downunder' - This is a Crocodile Dundee kind-a box! It plays on the romantic view of the outback held by the rest of the world thanks to Mr. Dundee and before him, Rolf Harris (anyone else remember Rolf?).

Here are some questions:

What is your logo for? Are you going to use it on letter head, business cards, brochures, etc.?
Or are you going to use it just as a header on a website?

I don't understand what the black line is for on the logo ? I think it would look better without the line. Or add something else. I like Ross's suggestions. The box suggests trading company, like you are shipping something in the box. I guess you had a box idea before but I have not seen that post yet.

Ross's boxes have reminded me of the Warner Bros. cartoons. The shipping crate would be opened and out comes the Tazmanian Devil.

My company's name is Downunder Trading Company. I'm based in Denmark in the northern part of Europe. I import various quality pruducts and brands from Australia, selling it to people in Northern Europe.
The map of Australia shows where the stuff comes from, the line that it is exported to Europe, and the box that we ship in bulks.
The company name and the map is stamped out of a sheet of metal and the line again is the handle to hold the sheet when logo is sprayed onto the shipping crate. This is actually better shown by Ross Macintosh (thanks).
In exchnage for the logos suggested by Ross Macintosh I can send you the CD-ROM 'Encyclopedia of Australia 2000'.

Thank's to all for helping. I'm still new in this area, but I learn a lot from guyes like you. Also thank's to the people behind Xara. This is the best program I have ever used :-)
