    Bruce.
    The face came from a dream, which in turn came from a trip to the dentist, I think, (from what I can remember of it).
    I woke up with a vaugue idea of the face which I used in an illustration for the front of a booklet i was producing at the time, but the 'Hold the candle steady etc...', was also in my mind for some reason after the dream, it's from the title of an instrumental by a band I've liked for the last 30 years. Why I woke up thinking about that and what it has to do with dentists is beyond me.

    to draw dentists tools. Can't say I've looked that hard at them.
    Pencils are nicer, kinder ...........unless you get one in the eye.
