Hi Juan,
gifs can be used as textures for text or background, but not as a text object. Are you wanting to use the object pictured in the gif? If that is the case, you would have to draw the object using Xara X or Webster. Then import the .xar or .web file.
If you are wanting to use the gif as a texture for the background or text in your Xara3D image, then use the Texture Import dialog. Click the X icon on the tool bar to open the Texture Import dialog.
I hope this helps, if not please provide a little more information about what you want to do with the gif file.
