Too late for me but maybe not for other prospective users.

I just got my August 2001 issue of PC PRO (UK computer magazine) delivered.

On the cover disc is a full copy of Webster 2 (and the Xara X trial version) with an upgrade offer in the magazine to Xara X for 89 UKP plus VAT (17.5% tax rate).

Offer is valid until 31 August 2001

As a subscriber to PC Pro, Now you tell me.

By the time the $ to £ convertion, I think I paid £120 (don't have bill in front of me) just a few weeks ago. So that's a good deal.

It would be a bargain at twice the price

I posted as soon as I could, judging by the cover date the later and wilier editors of PC PRO have discovered a worm hole and are posting future editions back in time (God I miss DNA )

I too only bought my Xara at the beginning of last month.

Over the years in the computer business you have to take a pragmatic view, you make a choice based on what you are purchasing and all the available information at that time such as will it do the job I am asking of it, is it a fair price and stick with it. Something will always come along in the near future that seems to negate or lessen your decision, but if you hold onto the fact that your decision at the time was a good one, you will never be truly disappointed, I know I am not.

Already pvoded it's worth in terms of personal and business use, so no problems there....

Except still can't get any joy with importing into DreamWeaver, and my topic on that seems to be drying up
