Question. Does anybody know how to use 32 bit images with Xara plugins (for example Photoshop plugins) without lossing the transparency ?

Apply them in Photoshop? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
This will work if your image has a white background (which it probably will if you have to convert a 32-bit image to 24-bit to apply the filter.
Use Sean Sedwards' 24-Bit Mask filter to create a mask (the directions for using the filter are on this page in the Xara Xone Shareware section.
Once the mask is created it will be placed in the Bitmap Gallery.
Apply your Photoshop filter to your image.
Open the Bitmap Gallery, select the mask image, and press Transp.

Xara can't do this...not that we haven't asked for it.
Alternatively if there was a way to lock transparency to an object's bitmap fill, that could function as an alpha channel.
I hope they add this feature. Or just let us use Photoshop to edit bitmaps within Xara.
