    In another topic I posted how to make instant snow with plasma transparency and profiles. Here's another way of using transparency profiles.

    Paul, your snow example really brings to light the importance of transparency & profiles to create special efffects. My compliments (and that's no snow job) [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]!

    Not only does it look great but think of the time saved v.s. trying to draw individual specs of snow. I believe this is method is really quite similar to the one I posted in the "virtual holes" thread.
