Tomorrow pupil of my give me his baseball hat with
nice logo (see above) and ask me if I can make such logo?
I said 'Yes, with Photoshop and Xara'.

The part of logo was barcode fake, and I make it with my own program SPRAY, you know http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

BTW, trimmed letters could be made with SPRAY-mosaic as well (it was such tut on TG).

    Genius! :-)

One question. What is the reason for the barcode in the design?

Great idea and a clever use of your own program. With regards to the barcode it seems you have way too many lines for it be a real barcode. Look at the back of the XaraX1 cd case and you'll see a very typical one. It has just 30 bars (I counted!).

2 Gary - maybe it was sharp and techno element versus chaotic, fluctuated letters.

2 Ross - It was excacly the same on baseball hat http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif and that is why I said 'fake' http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

And here is logo made entirely in Xara X and SPRAY (rnd lines, mosaic).

Reminds me of an old bitmap trick where you add noise to the canvas, select a narrow strip and stretch it to make barcodes. Never thought of doing the same thing in vector. Great idea, Dmitry http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif!
