    Hi all,

Recently I discovered this forum and posted a cartoon I created using Xara X.

Since then, I've been regularly checking out this melting pot of fascinating (!) Xara performance. I especially liked the 3D, photo realistic graphics. I actually never realized that Xara could be used for this kind of drawings.

This weekend, I decided to experiment with this new found inspiration, here's the result: a 3D version of the cartoon character. Hope you like it, it's gotten a kind of Toy Story feelìng...

    Bye,

    Ingmar

A tip - You could try using blip shaped strokes for the shadows and highlights of the shirt, and then apply feathering and transparency to get the soft look. By using strokes you can bend the lines, which you cannot do when you are using ellipses.

Thanx all, for the enthusiastic comments, gives me 'the vibe' to do some more 3d-izing!

Paul: I'm currently experimenten with the strokes, starts looking good, thanks for the advice!

The 3D effect is super, and the shoes are great.
The shirt may be a bit stiff, but the cartoon has a lot of character and depth. I luv it, Neil
