A steep upgrade price nontheless, but some major improvments.Good enough for Imageworks to now use it......that alone probably tagged on a hundred or so..

Looks amazingly cool. However I do not have Bodypaint 1 and at $695 I doubt I will be getting BP2 before Bodypaint 3 comes out Tack on another $50 if you want the manual! I guess I will have to stick with Photoshop and ZBrush for my texturing needs...

OMG!!! They've FINALLY come-of-age with this stuff! And it's about time! WooHoo!

Man that app is smmmmokin' now huh? And can load ALL of PS's filters too!? Oh momma!
No longer will it be so amazing to see top quality texturing... but the focus will now switch to where it really belongs... coming up with new and original content material.

Thx Stu. This is gr8 news.
I wonder if the price will be dropped a little after it's been out awhile? Or if there'll be any "package deals"...? hmmm...

Because Bodypaint2 can be used as a module in C4D8, and, as a standalone, also uses much of 8's functionality,

and because there is no mixing of 7 or earlier and 8 files possible,

I suppose that BP2 can only be used with C4D8.

Max, Maya, LW ok, but no C4D6 or 7?

This would be a real gumption trap
