I have created a simple logo using essentially letters, and have exported as .bmp. How can I make the background of the .bmp transparent so that when I put the logo on top of another image the white block of the .bmp file is transparent and only the actual logo shows?
    Thanks!

Export as a GIF format. It has transparent background option. When you perform a FILE > EXPORT, Select GIF from the pulldown menu. In the next dialog, pick the Options tab and the Transparent check box will appear.

BMP format doesn't have transparent export option.

    Hello cema,

Export your logo as a png. In the color depth drop down choose True color + Alpha. This will make the background transparant...Regards, Joel
