It totally has me dumbfounded. Can someone figure this one out.

    The directions are as follows.

Pick one of the double digit numbers, add the two numbers together and then subtract the new number from the double digit number. With the new number find the symbol it cooraspondes with and click on the magic ball.

I and the salon are all totally freaked by this one and would love to know how this works. We even tried it without moving the cursor and not talking and it still works.

    Try it out:

    Mystic Ball.swf

You need to have flash installed and intergrated into the browser for this to work!

Have fun and let me know what you think! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

    Richard, what a fun trick.

The symbols change after each click on the "magic ball". There are a limited number of possibilities with the addition and subtraction. Each of these possibilities are given the same symbol. No matter which numbers you pick, the same symbol is represented for each of the possible answers on any given screen.

Thanks Richard. The whole family has had fun playing with it. It is good for the boys' math skills as well as being fun.

Very Fun. I see Mickie has given you the answer already. My son surprised me and solved it also. Here are the key numbers that will always be your result. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 As Mickie said each time you click it the pictures change.
