layers gallery not working

When I click on each of the galleries they appear in my current document, except for the layer gallery, which was working a few days ago. Any suggestions?

Cory, if your working on an animation, the layers gallery will not be available. That's the only instance I've come across where the gallery is greyed out.

It could be that you've inadvertently dragged your layers gallery off the edge of your screen.
