Provocative thread guys! I very much like how this challenge has made people put on their thinking caps.

Milton - my first impression of your 'twister' logo was favorable. Thinking about it more I'm slightly critical of how your twister appears to have a cap instead of being a hollow funnel. The grey shape at the top isn't working for me. It seems to me you should be able to see the yellow & blue bands inside the twister.

Another way of emphasising the tornado could be to have a 'path' torn through the first few letters. If you can't visualize that approach please advise and I'll try to develop the idea further.

    Regards, Ross

    Hi,

Thanks you all for taking time to give me your feedback. Ross, thanks for the heads on making the spinner bettter. Here is a hollowed-out spinner.

I'm not the artist that many of this forum's participants are, but here's my attempt at the twister challenge using the clone, mould (or mold - depending upon where you read about it in the program), transparency, and blend tools. I attempted to keep a balance between the distortion of the text and readability and may have left it a bit too readable for maximum suction effect, but you get the idea....
