I visited a friend today, that I hadn't visited for a while.

He used to be an avid user of Xara since v1.2, but he has since drifted away from it. He admitted that it had been some time since he used Xara.

I pointed him to the Xara X trial download, and he somewaht reluctantly followed my advice to download. After a quick 5 minute demonstration of the new feature in Xara X, I couldn't get him away from his computer.

I think we just regained an old advocate!! :-)

Tell your friend to keep ver 1.2 on his system, because XaraX doesn't open all "legacy" .xar files.
