I can supply a file that just has the centerlines of the logo to apply a fill or blend to if anyone wants it. Just tell me what format you need it in.

The picture below is a copy of your logo duplicated and the line colour changed to dark red. Then stained glass transparency and duplicated again, this gives the original a more coppery tint.

Lane,
As my kids would say, "dad you don't listen"! Well I started working with your logo and came up with something a little different. Well I guess a lot different. I tried for the copper look, but I'm not sure I was totally successful. My test subjects (my family), seem to think I've created a hybrid (gold copper). If you want I can send you the file - all Xara X.

That looks great.
Made another quick brush and drew lines over Lane's original logo.

Missed the 60 minute cutoff for editing my last post. I actually had to stop playing with XaraX and do my job ;-)

David, I really like your rendition, a lot! But then I saw Soquili's, and wow, you hit the nail right on the head with your second post! That is what I was after. Can you tell me how you did it? Send me the file? I down loaded the trial version of Xara X.
But David, I like yours too; can you send me that file also?
What do you guys what, my first born is no longer available <grin>

Hi Lane,
I'm attaching the .xar file for the second post.
It started as a simple circle with a conical fill using colours picked from the first .jpg image you provided. Using the circle a brush was created. Imported your original .jpg logo image and used the Pen tool to draw lines over the letters. Applied the brush created previously to the lines to get the basic copper colours. Cloned all the lines, and reverted them to the standard solid brush stroke with round butt ends. Picked up the brightest colour from your copper jpg again and applied to the clones. Applied 5 pixel feathering. Shift the clones up and to the left slightly for the highlight.
On my work PC the brush draws very slowly (only 333 MHZ), I hope your processor is a bit faster than that ;-)
