I've been using Xara since version 1.0.

Now I see advertisements in my email for WebStyle.

Would I gain anything from using WebStyle (other than the java-menu stuff)? Or am I better off just sticking with a program I already know...

    Hey Robert,

Webstyle, I believe, is a template driven app for creating web bars/buttons and the like. Xara can do all that and more, as you know. You decide! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I think it all depends what you like to od wfcentral, and what your uses are.

Xara X is great if you want to create something. Xara Webstyle is great if you want something quick without fuss. Because literally you press a few buttons, and it's done.

As a website designer myself I use Xara X for my designs etc. and don't tend to use Webstyle. However I do find Webstyle's photo editor nice and easy. I can just drag something in, enhance it, play with the cropping and voila.

So they both can be good, one for each mood. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I've used Xara since the introduction of CorelXara... just after ver 1 I believe.

I've purchased WebStyle since ver. 2 and kept upgrading. I've used it several times. Version 4 for me has been less stable for me and the web pages disappoint due to little to no control over the design.

I really believe their on the right track but much remains to be done and polished off. I just upgraded to provide them support even thought I not totally satisfied. I've used it in ways not intended so I make it meet my needs by forcing results. Long story so don't ask.http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

They have a free trial! So why not give it a try?
