    However, if you use a lot of gradient fills in your design, it is very labor intensive to convert each gradient fill to a blend, (unless the colors have to match 100%).

    For example, if I had to create blends for the La Puerta logo (attached) the logo would never have been created http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

    Sometimes you have to ask, is the result convincing? Are the colors very close to what I designed? And if yes, I can live with it. I was very happy with the CMYK printed version of this logo.
