Click here for a preview of The March Tutorial

Having the luxury of a little spare time this month, I have begun the March tutorial early (instead of at the 11th hour)

Anybody interested in learning how I did it? If not, it's not too late to try something else.

Gary,

sorry, but I tried to pull up this page with Opera 5.02 and the FLASH 5 plug-in installed. Unfortunately the site tells me: Can't find suitable plug-in and requires that I download and install the plug-in.

Maybe you should check your routine for the plug-in detection - seems to have a bug.

Thanks in advance,
jens

Hi Gary,

I got that same result as Jens did when using the above link. I'm running Netscape 4.7.

Good lord, I'm a designer not a programmer. (I hate to admit, I do not have a routine for plug-in dectection).

I created the movie in Flash 5 and exported it as Flash 4, although I expect I could export it as Flash 3 as well. I created a simple page in NetObjects Fusion 4 and uploaded the page to my server.

I'm not sure what the problem is.

I think I have the most recent releases of the flash and shockwave plugins.

Be sure you are not responsible for this problem. It seems there is a recurrent problem when one export to previous versions with Macromedia products ...!

Gary, I would like very much to learn how you created it.

I'm using IE5.0 with the latest flash plugin and it worked flawlessly.

Gary,

I will send you a plug-in checker tomorrow - I'm too tired now.
