    ......Not sure about the checkerboard shader Rob,what happens if you actually physically hand paint the checked texture in the tex window? {just fill with white and use a large square brush}

    Oh hang on,no shaders applied to the mesh will not show up in the tex window.For instance if I apply say a noise shader to my mesh that noise shader wont show up in the tex window to paint over,but you can paint a noise pattern in the tex window.

    Its also fun painting on the mesh itself when you have your mesh ripped and set up.

    Thanks Stu!
    I also tend to go back to Photoshop for painting textures and bumpmaps... I think creating fine details is much more difficult to do in BodyPaint3D... I do not say it’s impossible but harder to get the same results in PS...
    I recently purchased some beautiful seamless skin textures from DoschDesign that works great in BodyPaint3D; I’am trying to use them on the Kraik creature seen in this topic... They do offer more then just skin textures; Stone, wood, nature etc.)
    Most of the textures come with a colormap, bumpmap, specmap in a fair amount of resolution... (checkout their website; www.doschdesign.com/ )
    Talk again, Rob

    Heres a UV map I ripped for a stone pillar I am painting to show those who are interested.

    BP3D lets you fill the polys with color, Functions fill polys,and also outline polys for the inner mesh

    Heres the map.

    Cheers Gidge

    The problem was I was tired and had not taken account of 4 sides and all of the inner and outer extrusions.

    Easier to show you how the map came out

    Nnnnnnnnah LOTR type cavern scene

    City scape is a whole lot of work because you cant just keep on copying buildings you have to make each one a bit different,and on a 15 inch monitor ...well
