    Anton,

that's the drawback with some PS plug-ins - they display only a tiny fraction of the original picture in the preview window, and you can't resize or zoom. But as long as it works at least I can live with it. BTW, it should work in Paintshop Pro as well.

I've just checked the plug-in: in Corel PhotoPaint it displays the preview, and you can zoom in and out. Perfect.

If you need a more powerful tool, check this one: Panorama Tool

    An excellent intro is here:

    http://www.splashdowndivers.com/phot...wide_angle.htm

The tool (free), the plug-in which works lik a charm in Xara X as well and manuals are here:

    http://www.path.unimelb.edu.au/~dersch/

Make sure you check the readme file or readme.html and copy the pano12.dll into the windowssystem directory, or it won't run at all.

Don't expect instant results - a math guru has written this one and you really have to read the how-to guides. It's worth it, and once you understand how it works you'll get excellent results.

BTW, there is a JAVA tool as well, but I don't like JAVA on my machine http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

An example of what the PanoTools can do for you:

Lens barrel correction plus correction of distortion for 2 different axis. Of course you can remove noise in the same process as well, plus many more features you won't find in any other tool.

    Thanks jens and mike!

I don't understand the half of what they do, other than the barrel/pincushion distortion correction, but both are really good!

As good as they are, they're not as easy to use as most of the stuff you can do natively with Xara, though. So, <rhetorical_question> when is Xara going to allow "Mould" to work on curvilinear distortion as well as "Perspective" does with rectilinear?</rhetorical_question>
