    It would be very convenient if Xara could import Acrobat files, at least single page ones.

    Now I have to use CorelDraw to open the file so I can extract bitmap and text objects into Xara.

    The attached was used for a PowerPoint presentation. After importing the Acrobat file into CorelDRAW I exported it to the CMX format, imported that into Xara, then used Xara to slice the bitmaps, skew the vector and bitmap objects, added shading, create the folded effect, etc.
