Dan, I have to admit that being from the States I was pulling for the U.S. However, also being from St. Louis, my home team The Blues, had as many players on the Cannadian team as the U.S. team. So, in a way, I couldn't lose!

Truthfully, knowing how much this meant to the "Great One", and Mario, secretly, I was hoping it would turn out the way it did. After all, silver ain't that bad!

I'll bet there were some wild times north of the border last night!

You all have every reason to be proud, they played a great game and really closed the door in the last two minutes.

Congrats,

Jack

North America's best were on the ice. They gave us a superb performance. It could have gone either way at one point.
Both team showed why it is the greatest game !

I'm Risto's wife Diane...

Risto has moved to Belarus and no longer cares about hockey or Xara. He has taken an oath of silence and spends his days cleaning pinecones, and grooming squirrels.

I'm sure that he is secretly happy for Mario and the rest of the gang, he just isn't ready to come out and say it, yet.

Good to have you aboard. So Risto is in Belarus eh? That just reinforces what I've always suspected: That Risto (if that's his real name) is really a Secret Agent! He recently posted that beaver holding a Swedish flag. I imagine his spy masters didn't like his conspicuous nationalistic gloating and have recalled him to give him a refresher course in subtlety.

Around here we don't care if Risto is a spy. We like his drawings and his humour. Whatever dastardly things he does in his job is no concern of ours.

Regards, Ross

The compliment about the image.
Funny thing, I've looked for the team Canada logo ont the web but couldn't find it. This morning, one of my student came in the classroom with a jersey featuring the logo. A quick scan an XARA for redrawing the contour + a jpeg image of the official ice puck, a little shadow and "voilĂ*"...

I'm still figuring XARA and all of its possibilities... Still having fun

Diane, did you like the women's game or did you prefer the men's ?
