I used the dragon brush in Xara X to make a pattern of colors. I exported the image to PNG with a transparent background. I opened the image in AutoFX Gel and applied minor changes. The right half is the modified image. I added a black background to see these better. Rich

The image was saved in PNG, and opened in PS Elements. I was thinking of getting some motion look, and used filters to make several variations. Rich

Since these continued to be transparent bitmaps, I stacked them together to make a composite image. Then made a duplicate and flipped it. I was getting ready to apply more Gel effects, but get too much highlight when applying this much change. If I use the same paramaters to effect the change, I will get opposite highlights. Rich

I was surprised the effect was very repeatable, and I could get the opposite sides. Rich

Now, I just needed to use Xara X, and slice the images in half. I made a clipview of each image. Everything the same size and alignment. Just a matter of joining them, and exporting to JPG for a reflection map. I used the map in E3 to apply color to the test, and added some gel effect in FX.
