Alright it isn't much, but the guy liked it, it's going to be the next book cover for math largest private math school, so I guess I can honestly say no matter how critical you will be... I'm proud http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Why the Sheff you ask... well... In Hebrew it is a game of words, the name of the book sounds like fresh baked bread, which also means the "new fresh made math exersices"

    hi,

looks nice - a bit hard to judge the jpg - try a gif next time for line-art stuff. you'll get sharp edges then.

Isn't GIF file contains only 256 colors? So how come it will give a better quality? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

    Hi Availor,

GIF files only allow up to 256 colours. Your book cover only shows 4 colours which could even be displayed with a 16 colour GIF. When using GIF files, use the least number of colours that can accurately display the image. You get smaller file sizes and the text edges are sharper, making the text easier to read.

Use jpg files only when you need photo realistic images. The number of colours will be very high, but the quality of text is much lower than in a GIF.
