    A continuation of my recent experiments in contouring. This example shows that the contour tool approach to funky fill magic can be applied to text objects.

    Cool effect Ross! How'd you do it? It's amazing what the artists here create, I'd betcha Xara corp. looks at some of this stuff and is just amazed by the different unthought-of effects that can be achieved by this program! Cool stuff

    If someone had showed me this and asked me to guess which app it was done in, I would have placed money on Photoshop or PSP.

    Thanks for the encouragement. Now I want to encourage others to play with the contour tool. Take something simple, like text or a circle, and try it. Remember the important step of applying transparency. Alter the fills after applying the contour for some great interactive fun.

    I've included the attachment below just to show that when you apply these effects to text they remain editable.
