Attached is the first photorealism project I'd attempted with Strata StudioPro2.5.3 a few years ago.

Nice stickman . Good looking image, do you still use Strata Pro?

About the stickman...When I started out I used to say that I couldn't draw a stickman to save my life but with 3D programs I could make up for this short fall.

As far as using Strata StudioPro I haven't used it for a while simply because I've been working to learn the tools and techniques of Cinema4D. In many ways I like the output of StudioPro over that of Cinema. With Cinema4DXL7.0 raydiosity has been added to their list of render options perhaps eliminating the gap. I'll be upgrading fairly soon...at least after the first minor upgrade (7.01, 7.1 etc) But, beware that rendering with raydiosity selected can really slow down a system.

    Ron,

That is why I asked. Seem liked I remembered you saying you were using C4D. Have you tried the demo of V7. The radiosity is pretty good, and once you get the settings down is fairly fast. I was hoping to see more modeling enhancements though so I am somewhat dissappointed in the upgrade. I will upgrade I am just not jumping up and down to do it.

I am still thinking of trying Lightwave, wished they would hurry up and release that demo.

I'll upgrade to Cinema4DXL 7 as soon as they release a minor upgrade. It's a personal choice to hold back a little so that developers can work out the bugs usually associated with a new product or major upgrade. As I said it's a personal thing.

    BTW, thanks Stu!!
