Is it possible to make a 3D heading with a transpartent background and then to import that into xara x?

You are referring to a still image vs. an animation I assume? (that was a question)

Export your image as a PNG (True Color option) and check Transparent in Options:

If you plan to place the image over a colored background in Xara, or a bitmap background, use a similar color in Xara 3D. Xara will anti-alias the image to the background color and when you import it into Xara X it will be sharp and clean.

I know it works (I just tried it :-)
