Wings is a great SDS little modeller and for free... you must have it. I've tryed it ocassionally and know very little about it yet. I made the heads just playing around. This would be almost impossible to do in Strata because the program is so limited in modelling tools.
Strata people are very enthousiastic about Wings and they do really nice things with it.
Personally I prefere NURBS to SDS so my Wings adventures will be very limited I guess. Strata is great for texturing and placing decals. The new render engine of Strata 3.9 is also improved and much more easy to achieve soft shadows than before. Radiosity still is a long term project for anyone. I don't have the patience for it. I have a lot to learn about ligth in Strata and didn't have the time yet to try it deeply.
