I asked the question about the threads locked in the gallery. You are correct, in that they are not locked per say, you may still view the thread.
However, they are closed to further replies. So again, I ask why? Only a moderator or administrator may unlock, and being you are one of the above, I figure you know the answer.
If it is of a sensitive nature, just say as such, and I will fully understand.
Best regards,
Mike

Are you refering to Newton's threads? He seems to have locked them from further replies.

Thank you Ross, that's what I wanted to know. I knew you could edit your own posts, (within time frame) but was not aware that the author of a post could close his own thread.
Sorry if I was so persistent, and as far as Gary being an egomaniac, surely not. An ex-hippy transplanted from California, it just couldn't be true.

that when you visit the Fontman's homage to his life in the Marines, that there is no way to contact him? Least none that I could find.

I was going to ask him, in private, why a person who spent his life in the Marines and supposedly left with the rank of Master Sergeant, had not developed better people skills. But Fontman, it appears, prefers to remain anonymous and take pot shots at "old farts" such as myself, from the safety of the trees.

You are not that much younger than I am Fontman, grow up and act your age.
