Just using fills and bevels on the original shape can produce some interesting results as well.

I can certainly see myself playing with this quite a bit... it's fun!! Thanx...
But I do have a question... it appears I end up with a black line between all the adjoining pieces. I made sure my triangle had no stroke prior to cloning and flipping... did I do something incorrect? Should the black lines not be there?
