Hi peoples,
Can someone point me towards learning how to apply a curvature to text?
I've can draw a donut shape, but I'm lost as to how to place lettering on the donut.

Paul to the best forum around.
To apply text to a curve - draw a single line curve - not a shape, type the text you want to apply. Select both text and curve and from the arrange menu there is an option of fit text to curve.

Thanks Christine,
I followed what you suggested, but I guess I did not pose quite the right question.
The image I want to make is like two elipses, one inside the other.
I want to place text between the two curvature lines, one line of text towards the top, and another line towards the bottom.
The top line I can manage, but when I attempt to place text on the bottom edge, the text scoots over to the side of the graphic.
UGH!!
Try this post text to curve
There are several mini tutorials in this topic that might be helpful.

To add text to a circle or ellipse, first convert the ellipse to editable shapes. Then with the text tool selected, click on the top center of the ellipse and start typing.
By default the text with be left justified. To center the text, highlight it and then click the Center Justify icon on the Text Tool Infobar at the top of the screen.
To apply your text to the bottom portion of the ellipse, right click on the text and select Reverse Text on Curve.
If need be, resize the ellipse and rotate the ellipse 180 degrees.
This do it?

Thanks Gary,
That's almost exactly what I need to do. Fortunatly, I work on he ground floor, so each time I get frustrated and jump out of the window ...
Sometimes when I do the steps that you'ver described, I keep handles focusd on the letters and I can make minor adjustments. Othertime, I have no idea where those handles have gone.
How do I keep them?
Thanks again
