Sorry to hear about your brother, it must be difficult.
I have just lost my father, made more difficult by the fact that he lived in Spain and me in England. However, as he was 87 the pain of him dying was not as great as I would have expected it to be, after a good life, death seemed natural.
The prospect of loosing someone who hasn't had a complete 'run' as it were must be hard, as it will feel, if nothing else, unfair.
