    Lanta

I can't seem to move the fonts to this thread, I tried, so here's a Link to the Fonts

I can use all the Kharma I can get. Thanks.

By the way, Bitstream has a product called WebFont Maker which has support for International Fonts. I don't remember if it supports Thai fonts but you might have a look.

It embeds the fonts on your web site so that visitors to your site see the same fonts you embedded whether or not they have the fonts installed on their computer.

    Hey Lanta:

Just a quick note from Xara to let you know that we are looking into the matter and hope to have some more information for you soon.

    Cheers,

    Hi Lanta Bill,

I thought I'd be a bit cheeky and pop in a quick (not entirely) Xara related question here as there's no email address for you.

Coincidently I'm creating a website for an antique business called Lopburi and need to write Lopburi in Thai. Now I've got some fonts and simply typed the word into Xara in English and then selected a Thai font (eg Jaffna) to get the effect shown in the attached picture. From reading the above thread I guess this is completely wrong! I guess my linguistic skills are lacking but it does not sound like Xara can cope anyway. Can you help, please!? Even if I knew what the word should look like it would help!

Also I expect to have to add some text in Thai (supplied by my client!) in the future and was hoping to do titles and so on in Xara so if anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful.

    Thanks,
    Richard

I just tried with Designer 8 mx and had the same issue...I get blocks for the general text! But here is the weird thing, when I goto the nav bar, and add/type text, the Thai shows perfectly! ARGH! Need this fixed for my newest site www.thaiministries.com, thanks!

Use Word or Wordpad then paste into Xara as 'Rich Text'
