I can't think of many programs where it's worth it going back to a 3-year-old thread. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

    Hi Britta,

It's a very pleasent surprise to see you here again. I'm glad you found the mini-tutorial something you can use.

    Hi Carol,

Brushes can be a lot of fun to play with. Have you looked at some of the brushes created by Ivan?

I know I'm getting old, but I never saw this thread until today and I visit TG at least once a day. I have also noticed various times when someone will put a link to a thread I would have been very interested in that I know I never saw before. Has anyone else had this happen to them or am I ready for the permanent rocking chair by the fireplace?

thanks, Soquili. Unfortunately, I had to scale back my graphics playtime and concentrate on my main work areas (coding/programming). But I do pop in here from time to time to see what's happening and enjoy reading the posts and viewing the pics.
When I heard that a XaraX upgrade is available, I just couldn't keep away. I'll have to allow myself just a little playtime with the new baby http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Britta, I fully understand about the coding. A programmer's work is never done; end users are never satisfied http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

I've been writing a lot of code and SQL stored procedures lately myself.
