John, I am aware of the magnifying glass feature... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

When slicing a dicing (ala eobet's inaccuracy thread) I get straight line segments, but not when converting line to shape.

I've just had some fun playing with this technique...

    Hello
I was inccurate in claiming that the shape changes. What I meant that there is a problem when cutting/intersecting the shape, which is annoying.

    Extra

Try applying large strokes with profiles to short straight lines and rightangle segments.

Hey, this a really cool technique. It's like getting an extension to quick shapes. One could probably create some pretty cool brushes with these shapes also.

Perhaps even a logo or two? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
