First Steps...

To be newer to XaraX than I am, you will have registered this morning. That said, I could use some direction on where to get started with a project I want to begin with.

I want to create an image that simulates a pueblo style wall and roofline. This would be the adobe brick look as a wall texture. I can figure this part out for myself. I need help in creating the poles that protrude through the wall, adding wood texture to them and adding realistic shadows along the wall.

I have browsed the various tutorials at XaraXone but did not see one that taught this. Yes, it's possible I overlooked it.

Does anyone know of such a tutorial to help get me started?

I did a mission recently: see

Sedona Mission in the Xara Gallery.

Using a "stone" bitmap from the bitmap gallery and a transparent layer to color the stucco texture.
