A couple days ago I learned in this forum how to add lens effect to say a magnifying glass or eyeglasses.

In this image I intend for the eyeglasses lenses to magnify the text of the book.

And that brings me to my question: how can I make the text follow the skewed shape of the page?

I tried the Shape Editor tool with or without converting the text to Editable Shape, the mold tool etc.

The two rect. shapes on top of the open book are just there to show where the text will be.

    Jean-Guy,

I'd use the Mold tools, default envelope (not perspective). Seems to work. (click on a point and curve the envelope.)

    Bonjour Jean Guy,

Mickie was quicker than I. I used the default envelope mold as well. I put a white rectangle with the text so the shape of the mould may be seen a little easier.

OK. The Default Envelope does the job. Why didn't I know better? I was trying to paste the page shape as Envelope and Xara kept telling me such a thing is not possible.

Question answered (and quick too). Thanks.

I easily enveloped the text. However,I grabbed the first text I found. I might change that and the position of the clipart. Also, I will make the lenses magnify the text. But you get the idea how it will look.
