Did this forum die completely? Or did the members gravitate to another forum? I've never seen a week and a half go by without a single post!

It's just odd that nobody mentioned that there was going to be a mass exodus...or did I miss something? I know Gidgit mentioned opening a new private forum that would be by invitation only, but I didn't think that would kill this one. What would be the point, unless another forum had a lot of more desirable features?

I admit, I haven't had the time to participate as much as I would like, due to college workloads. Hell, I haven't even had the chance to do ANY kind of artwork on the computer since this semester began. Being an older student, I have to put more time into it and study harder to get the brain cells to absorb new info...

But though mostly a lurker as of late, I still enjoy what's been contributed to this forum by all the nice people that make(made..?) it what it is(was...?) Shame to see it go away...

I'm awfully sorry that I couldn't contribute too much over the past weeks. I've had lots of private hassle, and I'm working on a project that doesn't give me the time to do 'some nice stuff': product development and a campaign for a hospital.

Worst of all I've been sick like a dog for 3 weeks now, which made everything even harder. But I will push through, and some day I will be back.

No, I didn't even know there was another forum. This is my place. Here at TG. It's fast, a small family, and it's kind of relaxed which I like.

I know there are other 3D forums around, but I've visited them and they are not my 'wavelength'.

Thumbs up, give me some time, and I'll be back with some new stuff to share.

    All the best,

Dan, I don't know about any mass exodus, I think its just a lull in the action. I was just joking about the D cert.

    Stay tuned man!

Started a new job last week, so I haven't had time to do anything 3d related.

    Still lurking though
