I saw a guy in NYC once, playing a hurdy-gurdy and wearing wooden glasses. I always thought that they were kinda cool.

Hmmmm. Could be a problem in damp areas with dry rot.

Nice rendering. And ditto what Judi observed about the cute little screws.

They should hold their shape better than those tiny wire ones. Psychadelic (?) glass. Good work, imaginative but with attention to details. Neil

... you are on a roll, Borlip.

It is a really funky eyewear design!

Your "phoenix" design is awesome! It has some great colors happening in it.

    What is a hurdy-gurdy?

    <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>What is a hurdy-gurdy?<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

It's an old stringed instrument with keys to press the strings and a rotating wheel instead of a bow. Think funny-shaped violin with circular 'bow', mechanical 'fingers' and a continuous drone like bagpipes!

PS So speaks the musician, but try Google. The first of its 21,900 matches looks like it might tell you everything you need to know:
