Why when you have a bitmap fill and the fill tool is activated sometimes you can change the dpi and other times this option is not available?

I've never figured that one out either Judi. I'm sure someone knows. I hope the answer finds its way into Gary's xaraxone tips repository...

This one had me puzzled for a while, but I think I've cracked it. Normal the top info bar displays "start colour" or "end colour" depending on wether the extreme fill arrows are selected or the centre fill is selected.
To display the dpi option box just click on the bitmap away from the fill arrow boxes.
    Also see attachment.

Ah Ha indeed! Thanks Egg for figuring that out. I'm sure it will prove a useful tip for me. Thanx!

PS - Thanks for asking Judi.
