I revisited the technique I have shown in a post on the Gallery some times ago.
A little "how to" soon!

Your work on brushes is truely inspiring Ivan. I've used your technique to create the brush used to draw the star fish below. Maybe you could include your oil painting brush in your collection.

Wow! Now THAT'S a cool effect Johnathan.

I can think of a few ways i'd use that kind of effect.

Thanks for the idea!

And of course, thanks to Ivan for the initial inspiration!

I just tried your tutorial Ivan - so easy but the effects could be staggering.

Thank you so much Mike, but there are no substitutes to fun too! And I hope my techniques can bring a lot of fun to others!

1. convert line to shapes (allways preserve a copy of your initial brush)
2. ungroup (but at this stage don't deselect)
3. open bitmap gallery
4. apply a plugin to your bitmap
5. select the resulting bitmap inside the bitmap gallery
6. check "fill" button of the gallery

The new bitmap will be applied as a filling to all the shapes of your converted brush.

You may also replace it by any other imported bitmap! The ratio will be preserved.

Enjoy,
ivan
