The head began in Wings and was detailed in Silo ; the body was made of ZSpheres in ZBrush and then completed in Silo too.

    enjoy,
    ivan

A better inclusion for the eyes and a first try to use Sasquatch Lite (included in Lightwave) for the hair. The only problem with the Lite version is that you must create separate objects with low poly account for the hairy parts and add them to your scene.

    kindly,
    ivan

Ivan, so are they just sort of sitting there as in apposed to say bridged or welded?

either way they look very cool indeed...

yea, I have the LW Discovery version and would love to make use of those terrific deformers LW has but as in the case of the lite version here, the poly counts for saving for instance are simply too low for doing anything worth while... ah well Still always fun to play around...

speaking of which, durn it, I am liking Silo more and more each time I open it... don't know that it will replace Wings for me anytime soon, but wow, it's certainly going in the right direction eh

happy creat'n Ivan, looking good as usual

Randy, remember that anybody is beautiful !!! (and what about your ears )

Gidgit, here are some steps for the eyes :

    1. The eye cavity is made of several extrusions of a quadrangle (seen here without subdivisions. The pink surfaces are those where the eyelashes will come.

    2. The first subdivision is used for the first adjustments.

    3. Seen here with three subdivisions without the eye globe.

    4. The eye globe is made of two spheres. The biggest one (transparent here) is the one which will make the transparent parts at the final stage. For the rendering in Lightwave I have I have applied some refraction effect to it which will magnify the inner parts.

Hello Ivan, I have the Demo of Silo, Question? If I have 2 objects in close proximity of each other, is there a way to lock or protect an object so it cannot be selected or changed accidently while working on the other object?
