I have about 40 different colour combinations that I tried.
These were made the same way as I modified your image, by using copies of the main image, in this case it was the black text, and adding different coloured copies on top and then modifying them using the Transparency Tool.

They're great Alan. I will play with this some more tonight.

How do you post a picture here? I couldn't work it out, only could do an attachment.

    Thanks, J

You have to make sure that the image is in a file format that browsers can read. Such as gif, png or jpeg etc.

Since web browsers can not read Xara .xar files, they should up as a download link.

But do I send it as an attachment or hit the "image" button?

When I hit the image button last time it asked me for the URL, It's just on my disc no URL.

to see if I can upload a pic.

This is what I've ended up with for my polaroid pics.

I left off the fractal plasma, I love the effect but it looked a bit much for the situation I need to use it in. It's a very conservative ad for very conservative people.

The photo I've used for a test is very low quality, but I had it handy on disc for a website and just put it there to see what it looked like with a photo in it.

Its all a bit unexciting, but still a learning experience for me.

Thank you for your words of encouragement, they are much appreciated. I really don't get any time to play with Xara and do the tutorials hence I am progressing very slowly.

Xara is really a fantastic program, I am so glad I discovered it.
