    Hello,
I have used Draw 9 for over a year and, in the process, have created about 40 custom gradient fills that I use often. I've upgraded to Draw 10, and I'm wondering how to transfer those custom gradients. If it can be done, I assume it's one of the files in the Custom folder. Has anyone tried this?
I also have an elaborate set of shortcut keys I would like to use in Draw 10, also, without having to re-enter manually. Is there a file for those that could be copied as well? Or am I SOL?

    Thanks in advance.

Custom fills are stored in the file coreldrw.ffp in the ...\corel\graphics9\custom folder.

I don't know if this file is compatible with V10 however.

If not this is probably the easiest way to get the fills into Draw 10, create 40 shapes in Draw 9 and give each one a custom fill, open the file in Draw 10 and select each shape in turn, goto the edit fill dialogue and add preset.

I don't know about the workspace thing, if you don't get an answer here you could try the corel newsgroup server cnews.corel.com and ask in a Draw 10 newsgroup to see if someone knows if it is possible to import workspaces from Draw 9, I would imagine that this procedure would be unlikely.

I think Corel have thought about this problem as Draw 10 allows you to export your workspace as a file for importing into another copy of Draw 10, I would guess they would maintain compatability for this export file fromat in future versions of Draw.

Peter, I copied the .ffp file from version 9 to 10 (made a backup first, of course), and it worked. All my custom gradients are intact and usable. I have a feeling I'll probably have to manually enter the shortcuts, but I can deal with that.

Thank you so much for the info.
