    Just messing about this evening and wanted to produce a steam train with limited colours for a 16 col gif. Here's the result.

    Love visting the steam railways.

    All you need to do now Eric is to animate the wheels and add some smoke.

    Nice drawing! I love the detail. The old steam engines have so much character..

    Reminds me of one of my favourite computer games: Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon. It used to have drawings like this as a primitive form of copy protection — the game would present you with a side view of locomotive and you had to identify it from the manual before you could play.

    Any other Sid Meier fans out there?

    and you did this design justice!!

    SamTrans, where I live, uses 3 colors for it's trains. Red, Silver gray and Black for the wheels and lettering, that's IT!!

    So 6 colors would almost be pushing it but works very well for this design!!

    Where's the Kaboose??
