Change Your Guide Color

For those who want to change the color of their guides (not sure why I did this ... just playing around).

Edit your registry and at the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Xara
Xara X
Version 3
Options
Layers

Then modify the values (0 thru 256) for Guide Layer Blue, Guide Layer Red, and Guide Layer Green.

Or maybe just use the colour drop-down selector in the Guide tab of the layer properties dialog?

I was about to look in the Guides section to see if this was possible. I thought it was, but you confirmed.
